Is Reyataz safe for children and infants?

Reyataz is considered safe for children and infants older than three months of age, although there have been no studies of the effects in children three months to 6 years of age. Mothers taking Reyataz should not breastfeed because it is unknown if the medication can be passed through breast milk and because of the risk of passing the HIV virus to a nursing child.
