How should I take Androderm?

You should use Androderm exactly as directed by your doctor. Typically, this will be once a day, preferably in the evening. Thoroughly clean and dry your skin, but do not apply any lotions to it. Apply the Androderm patch to a clean, dry spot which can be on your back, upper arms or thigh. Do not apply the patch to your scrotum, stomach, bony areas or spots upon which you will be sitting or sleeping. Change the patch each day at about the same time of day. Throw the old patch in the trash in a place where children cannot get to it. Apply the new patch to a different spot of skin than before. You may return to a previous spot after seven days. Do not use a damaged or torn patch.
