What are the possible side effects of Aceon?

The most common side effects of the blood pressure medication Aceon (perindopril) include the following. Let your doctor know if any of these become severe or don't go away:
  • dry cough
  • headache
  • weakness
  • dizziness
  • diarrhea or upset stomach
  • abdominal or back pain
Call your doctor or get emergency medical help immediately if you experience any of the following uncommon, but serious, side effects:
  • swelling of your face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles or lower legs
  • hoarseness
  • trouble swallowing or breathing
  • lightheadedness
  • fever, sore throat, chills
  • irregular or rapid heartbeat
