Can I use Zestril if I am taking indomethacin?

You may be able to take the blood pressure drug Zestril (lisinopril) if you are on indomethacin (Indocin). But before you start Zestril, make sure your doctor knows you are taking that nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which is prescribed to treat the pain of arthritis and other conditions. In combination with Zestril, NSAIDs may decrease liver function or reduce Zestril's effectiveness. If your doctor wants you to take both drugs, he or she will likely monitor you closely for side effects.
