Can enalaprilat interact with other medications or foods?

The blood pressure medication enalaprilat is not known to interact with foods, but it can interact with other medications. Let your doctor know about all your other drugs (prescription and over-the-counter), as well as any vitamins or herbal supplements you are taking. Be sure to mention if you're taking:
  • nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen, naproxen or indomethacin
  • lithium
  • diuretics (water pills)
  • potassium supplements or potassium-containing salt substitutes
  • aspirin
  • other medicines for high blood pressure
  • heart medications
Your doctor may need to modify your medication plan, dosage or timing.
