    Our Mission

Count the Kicks is a public health campaign that teaches expectant parents to track fetal movements during the third trimester. A study published in the BioMed Central journal Pregnancy and Childbirth indicates an overall decrease in stillbirth rate by one-third when all patients were educated on monitoring fetal movements. Count the Kicks goal is to achieve the same success in the U.S., saving close to 8,500 babies each year. Count the Kicks is a project of Healthy Birth Day, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of stillbirth and infant death through education, advocacy and support..
