Over 90% of women will have a five-year survival of a stage I cancer. [MUSIC PLAYING]
The good news about endometrial cancer, in the majority of women, between 70% and 80% of women, it is found in its earliest stage, which means
it's at its most curable stage. And in those cases, we're generally able to treat it surgically by doing a hysterectomy.
And for the majority of women, especially if they're a stage I, that's going to cure them. A more advanced uterine cancer sometimes
requires other treatments, either radiation or chemotherapy, depending on the type of cancer it is and how advanced it is.
But this is a cancer that is very treatable. [AUDIO LOGO]
