Bio

Michael Friedman has worked in the field of mental  health  for over 40  years, having served on numerous  advocacy and public  advisory groups including  the  Geriatric Mental Health Alliance  (which he founded in 2004), and  the  Veterans Mental Health Coalition  of NYC (which he  co-founded in 2009). He  currently teaches at  Columbia  University's schools of social work and public  health.   His publications can be found at http://michaelbfriedman.com/
