Dr. Sudeepta Varma, a Sharecare expert, is a board certified psychiatrist and clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the NYU Langone Medical Center. She was also the founding medical director and attending psychiatrist to a prestigious mental health program at NYU Langone. Dr. Varma teaches, publishes, and speaks to medical and lay communities around the country on mental health issues. She is a media health consultant and contributes on-air to 20/20, the Dr. Oz show, ABC World News, CNN's HLN, CBS, ABC and MSNBC, NPR radio, and Oprah radio.
