Leo Galland, M.D., an honors graduate of Harvard University, received his medical training at New York University and has taught at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Stony Brook University. A board-certified internist, Dr. Galland has authored more than 40 scientific articles and has written chapters for numerous textbooks including Integrative Gastroenterology and Encyclopedia of Human Nutrition. Dr. Galland has three books, The Fat Resistance Diet, Power Healing, and Superimmunity for Kids. An award-winning leader in integrative medicine, Dr. Galland developed Pilladvised.com, a web tool where users can learn more about interactions between supplements and medications. He is the Director of the Foundation for Integrated Medicine, a non-profit educational organization committed to integrating nutritional therapies into clinical practice, and maintains a private practice in New York.
