I initially felt “talked at” during my appointment. Then I realized he was coaching and challenging me to take an active role and be accountable for my health. I’ve never been challenged like this by anyone. I read, with interest, the one star reviews and now i am glad that i did not react to them. I’ve followed up with Dr. Y now 4 times. I have hit my goals for health and he has become more and more kind and compassionate with each visit. There is no question that he will work hard for you as long as you “do the work.” (Dr. Y’s words). Hands down, the most knowledgeable and “tough” physician I’ve ever met and am glad that i did.
