I had only met Dr. Nelson once before having my baby, and I was most nervous about getting her because she seemed cold. However, she turned out to be perfect for me when the time came. She let me labor on my own, and I was able to have a natural birth. She left the lights off and let me pull my baby up, and was more than happy to delay cord clamping. I loved her hands off approach. As a vbac mother, it was refreshing to be treated with respect.
