Patient Reviews
Jul 17, 2022
Dr. Sara Speck has been my cardiologist since September, 2021. Since that time my cholesterol numbers have become very well behaved. Dr. Speck helped me change my diet and on my last appointment she asked how the diet change was going? So her follow up is excellent and she continues to check on me quarterly but now that my cholesterol numbers are in a good range we are extending the next meeting out further. Dr. Speck brings the whole person into the picture and really does an excellent job of guiding me through the process of lowering my cholesterol numbers. M. C. Well…

About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Finding the right medical care for you is a scary proposition. No matter if you are rich or poor a healthcare crisis can be overwhelming. You need a navigator. You need someone with knowledge and influence and judgment and connections. I have 25 years experience in taking care of patients, both acute and chronic. I have partnered with my patients to show them how to prevent experiencing a heart attack or stroke in their lifetime.

In 2010, I founded POTENTRx (po-ten-trex), a medical fitness company that uses exercise as medicine. POTENTRx delivers lifestyle assessments and prescriptions to treat not only women and men with heart disease and chronic illness but everyone who wants to achieve the most robust and healthy life possible at any point in their life's journey.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
