My name is James Bankes and I was a patient of Dr Maslow in August through November 1978. Dr. Maslow performed emergency surgery on my right ankle in August 1978. I was 13 years old and arrived by ambulance to his emergency room that morning suffering from a compound fracture of my right ankle. My foot was dangling from skin and I was in total shock with no real awareness of where I was nor my condition Dr. Maslow performed miraculous surgery on my foot and with risk of amputation a very real possibility, his performance was masterful and with aid of pins, my foot was saved that day. His his staff monitored me for one year and their after-care with superb. I am 55 years old today and I think about him all the time. To this day, I am forever grateful I came to Woodbury Memorial Hospital that morning while Dr. Maslow was on duty. Thank you, Dr. Maslow from the bottom-of-my-heart. May God continually bless you!
