I reside in Manhattan, and I had poor blood flow in an artery leading into my heart. A stent was inserted in December 2023. Since the angioplasty, I have had a difficult time learning about how I should change my diet and exercise (and other daily activities) in order to improve my heart health. Getting appointments with qualified heart specialists in Manhattan can take months! Fortunately, I traveled to 6740 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn (very near the 'Bay Ridge Avenue' station on the 'R' subway line) for an appointment with Boutros Karam, MD. Dr. Karam was absolutely amazing. He spent a proper amount of time to educate me, he was a good listener, and most importantly he followed up to track my progress and help me gain entrance into a Cardiac Rehabilitation program at an NYU Langone Health Facility. If you need to see a qualified cardiologist, I urge you to contact Dr. Karam's office to learn if his specialties are right for you. Dr. Karam is the best doctor I have met in years! 5 STARS!!
