We saw Dr Hanif at Henry Cancer Center last year when my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. At our initial visit with him he had an emergency and we waited a bit, but when he presented for the appointment he apologized for being late. He took the time to listened to my mom, and he explained her options and what was and was not an option for her and why. We had completed the PET CT that he had ordered and he reviewed it with us at her follow up appointment and was genuinely caring and very compassionate about my mom's diagnosis of Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. He offered to help us in any way to make her comfortable and agreed that we should enter her into hospice.
