It was my first visit with Dr. Russo. It was an appointment for a follow up after an infection. She listened, made reasonable suggestion, and put a plan in place. The biggest thing that stood out was her compassion. I know my weight contributes to my disorder. Normally I get the insincere lecture about my weight. She told me “we can only take one step at a time and you are working on it”. That meant the world to me. I left feeling more confident. I often leave appointments feeling defeated.
