My mom was diagnosed with LCIS after a biopsy. Dr. Chagares' office got us in for a consult super quickly (the woman who handles the appointments was so incredibly caring, professional and proactive in getting us an appointment and helping us obtain all the records needed) Dr. Chagares took the time to explain everything about the condition to us and he laid out all of the options for treatment. He will take the time to really make sure you fully understand everything that is going on (risks / benefits etc). The other surgeon we were referred to for a consult did not want to even see my mom for another 6 weeks. By the time we would have seen that doctor for a consult, Dr. Chagares already performed the lumpectomy. His bedside manner was fantastic - he truly treats his patients like family. He has a great energy about him - you just know you are in good hands when he is around! I would recommend him to anyone needing to see a breast surgeon!
