Dr Burks is one of the best doctors/surgeons I have come in contact with. His initial appoint was amazing, his staff made me feel comfortable and they thoroughly analyzed my movements/ imaging results. Dr Burks explained everything clearly. I ended up needing a microdiscectomy at the age of 29, which he performed. The surgery went perfectly and I went from not being able to walk the morning of surgery to walking fine on my own coming out of surgery the same day. After surgery he was available and supportive every step of the way. I ended up going back into the hospital about a month after surgery (for reasons not related to my spine or the surgery in any way) and his whole team was there every day checking on me. If you are considering any neurosurgery, please consider Dr Burks. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for him.
