I have mild diabetes and some heart issues. Another physician prescribed Jardiance, but then disappeared into another practice. I lost a lot of weight but was urinating very frequently. Dr. Brooks found that I was in Stage 3b kidney failure and took me off of Jardiance, prescribing Ozempic instead. My kidney function is now essentially normal and my A1C is excellent. If Dr. Brooks hadn’t taken me off of Jardiance, I would probably be on dialysis. She really knows what she is doing.
