Dr. Steinberger was my dad's doctor when he was admitted to Holland Hospital in early October. He called me once my dad was admitted when I was on my way home from a trip and before I had a chance to see my dad. He spent about 15 to 20 minutes on the phone with me reassuring me and giving me helpful information as we navigated my dad's infection and dementia. Later in the week he helped us make informed decisions about Hospice care and what that would entail. Again he was patient, calm and caring in the time he spent with us. I am grateful to him and the entire staff on the fifth floor at Holland Hospital as this was about a month before my dad died. Each of them cared for my dad in a caring and loving manner.
