I saw Dr Kelly after seeing another pain doctor who was worse than useless. Dr Kelly was easy to schedule an appointment with [offices in DC and Arlington-Virginia Hospital Center(VHC) ]. I filled out a questionnaire before the visit, and was amazed that Dr. Kelly had thoroughly reviewed my VHC medical records (100+ pages) & came in with specific questions so he would best understand my issues. I had had repeated surgeries on my knee due to infections, & he offered to consult with current doctors & I agreed. He then explained various options--both drugs and procedures--that could address my pain without needing opioids, as I had been on them for a long time & didn't want to become addicted. My surgeon said the procedures should be avoided due to my current infection risk, so Dr Kelly suggested a non-opioid drug protocol as a first step, which has helped more than anything other than opioids. I was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and care. Highly recommend.
