I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, treated by a physician in HdG, Md. and was urged to have my colon removed to alleviate my condition. After meeting with Dr. Shamszad and getting a second opinion from her, I was told that my colon and small intestine were at risk and that removal of my colon would be a disaster for me. With proper care and medication from Dr. Shamszad I was a "new" person within a week! She literally saved my life and I was able to resume a normal life, free of any disease. I have been in remission since 2012! God bless Dr. Shamszad!
