When my son was 3 diagnosed with a massive brain tumor in the brain. Dr Sutton could not reassure us of anything till he went in. After a very long surgery it was good news. The aftercare at CHOP was great. Dr Sutton was calm and answered all questions. Followed up for 5 years . After the good fifth year checkup was the first time I saw this man smile . Adam is now 41 a teacher and a new parent He is proud of what he calls his zipper neck scar and his students love him. I don’t know how he would have done without the skill of this doctor.Yes he can be abrupt but he bears a great burden of responsibility to the patient and the family. Ginny Toal

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
