I went to Dr. Padjen with hip pain that an orthopedist gave me shots without doing full diagnostic tests. Dr. Padjen questioned the diagnosis and said he wouldn’t treat me until he had more information. He got me the mri by working with my insurance, and called me 2 days later at 8 a.m. to tell me that I had a fracture. Without his aggressively pursuing the right diagnosis, I would have kept walking on a fracture and had a full collapse. Of course he couldn’t do the surgery, I went to a NYU orthopedist. But his diligence in finding out exactly what it was, which the other doctor didn’t do, really saved me. I highly recommend.
