Dr Tompkins did a total knee replacement of my left knee on June 14th 2022. He had replaced my right knee in 2015. My first surgery was so successful I hardly notice it being an artificial joint at all! Great mobility and zero pain! My left knee was a much more complicated procedure due to the amount of damage in the knee, but Dr Tompkins did an excellent job. I had unfortunate surgical complications that had to do with other medical conditions. Tompkins handled them splendidly. I had to spend a night in the ICU, and received 2 blood transfusions. Dr Tompkins, along with the hospitalist, checked on my condition constantly. I ended up having to spend 3 nights in the hospital, and Tompkins came to see me 1-2 times every day. Tompkins is an outstanding surgeon/doctor, and I recommend him highly! He's also a very caring and thoughtful person who listens to everything you tell him, and thoroughly explains anything you have questions about. His staff is very friendly & efficient.
