How likely are you to recommend Dr. Martin?
Went to see Dr. M in terrible post surgical neuralgia....Gave me gabapentin, early days of its off label use. My only complaint is that he cited what's probably his best case scenario for getting off the drug after a year. Problem is , i could not get off it, and he had me jump the dose up to a reallly high dose. There are side affects and 20 plus years later I most def feels them. I am not the same person, and lost the ability to concentrate, a pretty big thing as I use my brain intensively for work. I do not know what other solutions there were, so i dont blame him, but i wish we had gradually raised the dose; but i 100% trust that Dr. M meant well and wanted to get me out of the excruciating pain i was in at the time...
