Patient Reviews
Aug 20, 2022
In 2013 I broke my ankle in 18 places (fell at work). It was horrific. He managed to save my leg by screwing the fragments together with two large plates (one on tibia, one on fibula) and 15 screws. Some pieces of bone were small and could not be screwed together but he meticulously placed them all together like a very intricate puzzle and carefully monitored my progress. To everyone’s amazement (I suspect even his own as my fracture was so very insanely awful…) it worked. Once it healed he admitted that I had been close to amputation but his experience in Vietnam as a medic taught him how to set legs of soldiers who stepped on land mines and he felt he could save it. I am forever indebted to him and in complete awe and cannot express the depth of my gratitude for him saving my leg, not to mention how perfect its shape and function turned out. Like a miracle! He is simply amazing and profoundly talented, and had great bedside manner - as an orthopedic specialist. HIGHLY recommend!
