My 84 year old father w/heart conditions, hbp, post bypass, post brain surgery, post prostrate cancer and diabetes type 2 was looked after by Dr. Kurian with compassionate and expert care. I flew in to help my mom as my dad had taken a fall and was admitted from the ER with several seriously unstable conditions. Dr. Kurian called each day to go over my dad’s progress and was patient with our numerous questions and attentive to our concerns. I was so grateful at how accessible he made himself and how kind he was in explaining things to my dad (who was at times disoriented and confused ) and especially appreciative that he took the time to listen to us. I feel like my dad received the best care in the world here with Dr. Kurian and the nursing staff at Evanston. As an aside Dr Kurian has a kind and unhurried speaking voice which made us feel so comfortable and cared for as a family!
