Dr. Lewis (or Bryan as he likes to be called because he is humble) speaks softly but carries a big intellect. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer and on the worst day of my life, he stayed on the phone with me after hours for over 90 minutes just talking through next steps and life in general. He has been there with texts, calls, going to bat with my insurance, double checking for interactions. He has been the best human I could have asked for. Additionally, his wife who is a paramedic has delivered meals, meds, checked in, and respectfully provided things I couldn't have ever dreamed a stranger stepping up for. She clearly cares as much as him and they are a force of nature when combined. Communities don't get people like them very often, I hope Midcoast takes good care of them.
