About Me
Care Philosophy

Working in insurance based, corporate medicine brought me away from my values. It made it harder for me to do what I went into medicine for-taking care of people and living in line with my own beliefs about health. The reason I got into medicine was to participate fully in the lives of other people. Increasingly, I noted hospital systems and insurance mandates creeping into my relationship with my patients, dominating choices. When I learned about direct primary care, I realized I could bring my personal values back to the primary care medicine I practice. I have structured Direct Osteopathic Primary Care around my values of autonomy, positive relationships and compassion. I look forward to sharing the journey of finding health and balance together.
