You have to find your fit, and Tammy fits me like a glove. Her coming from a nursing background allows her easily to establish rapport with her patients. While with her, my visits feel personally tailored to my medical needs. She doesn't just presribe, but she puts careful thought into what our game plan will be--whether some meds are working or if I need to reduce dose, or get off another medication entirely. She doesn't over-prescribe, but tries to get to the root of your issues. My referrals from her were all timely; she orders labs for follow-up within reason--not to gouge your pocketbook, and she works in concert with the specialists that you might also be seeing, provided you update her with information and/or records of those visits (because lo and behold, not all patient portals connect with one another...I didn't know that.) She is easy to get a hold of on the patient portal and has responded promptly to my messages. Tammy is professional and invested in her patients.
