Susan Hardwicke was not my first therapist, but she WAS the first one break into and pull me through the thick sludge that had been building up over 40 years of my life. Her casual style of conversation combined with an arsenal of tools from pressure points to hypnosis comforted me enough to enter some creepy recesses.
