She helped me through a major depressive event. Also using a technique called EMDR she helped me revisit and process buried, painful childhood memories and emotions. Without realizing these buried memories were affecting how I responded to everyday stressors. By processing these memories and emotions we were able to identify maladaptive behaviors learned as a result from childhood trauma.
