How likely are you to recommend Sarah Richards?
I began seeing Sarah after my prior psych left. She is very expressive with her tone, face, and words, which can be really helpful when you may have had very straight-faced doctors before; she makes herself easier to read than many. While we had some communication issues anyway, due to mostly mild misunderstandings, she was always very willing to clarify what she meant when I told her how I had heard her. Very caring - helped me find the right PTSD meds that are not addictive when I was needing to take my other PTSD med more often and I was getting concerned about the frequency. She also was willing to call pharmacies on my behalf when needed, which showed me how dedicated she was to providing good care. Finally, I do appreciate that she was relatively easy to get on the phone. When I left a voicemail, she called back in about a day, and sometimes I even got her without needing a callback. This is rare for psychiatry, in my experience!
