I confidently recommend Dr. Hydock. She is an intelligent, insightful and caring mental health professional who helped me find my way through some challenging times. She is objective and offers clinical explanations about the “why” behind habits, interpersonal situations and strategies, and coaches how to implement positive change, which I found very helpful. Her style is matter-of-fact but also compassionate. That said, if you are not willing to put in the hard work and make personal changes, it may not be a good fit. She doesn’t coddle or hand-hold.
