Had a visit with Dr. Rachael Shumaker about my heart issues. I must say her bedside manner is the BEST I have ever experienced. She deserves this 5-star rating because she has earned it. Answered all of my many many questions in complete detail and made sure I understood her explanations. Even answered questions I had about my parents and took all the time that I needed. I highly recommend Dr. Shumaker, not only is she very knowledgeable in her field but she is highly personable with her patients to the extent that even when you feel bad she makes you feel good bc you get the feeling she actually cares about your issues. When so many Dr.'s want to "Rush" you out of their office or talk over you she does the exact opposite, she listens, takes notes then talks when you are finished. Many times we patients just want to feel that our Dr's are listening to us and understanding us even if they have heard the same thing a thousand times. Great job Dr. Shumaker!
