While fighting my sister in court for custody of my daughter and caring for my mother, I was also being systematically physically and emotionally abused by my oldest sister. In a trance, I jumped in my car and just drove. I started out in Jacksonville, FL, and dissociated at the wheel of the car in Kansas City. A domestic violence shelter took me in and Phil Bohlander saved my life after a panic attack induced by severe trauma. He saw me twice a week and was perceptive and literally saved me.
