Pfeffer literally saved my life. Her candid responses to some things I tell her is refreshing and validating. When she uses her personal stories to explain something or prove that she understands how I feel, she is careful to preface it with, "I don't know if this is helpful or not," to which I always reply, "Of course it's helpful!" I have come to learn that this tentativeness exists only because she is constantly working to make sure that I am heard and that she never forces her thoughts on me. She makes me laugh and lets me sob. My only worry about this relationship is the reality of it ending someday. As I said, she has literally saved my life. I am so lucky to have found her.
