About Me
Care Philosophy
- Pamela Moore, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 26 years of experience within the world of pediatrics—inpatient hospitalist care, urgent care and primary care. Dr. Moore’s approach to care is an interactive partnership with families. She believes parents know their child far better than anyone else and that gathering information from a parent/caregiver is crucial in treating the pediatric patient. She also believes it is important to include the child in every interaction and to allow them to feel involved in their own care. She believes that being an advocate for children is an important part of her job. Dr. Moore formerly served as a military/civilian physician on military bases and brings to her practice a very good understanding of military families and the challenges they face. Having completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Puget Sound, she also has a wealth of local knowledge. Dr. Moore is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Away from work, Dr. Moore enjoys music, opera, hockey, travel and spending time with her children.
