I was referred to Nikkeya Boyd, NP by another patient. She is seriously an amazing provider! I have been to many in the last 15 years. She does not talk to you as if you're "small". She is very thorough in treatment based off of getting the proper testing. She encourages patients to ask questions about their bodies. She will tell you all information about your body it doesn't matter if it is minor. I have been to many providers who feel they have the right to decided what information is important or not and i hate that with a passion. For example, I heard a provider say, oh I wouldn't tell my patient that, it isn't important. That made me think, I am glad I am not a patient of that doctor. I want to be told everything about my body so I can make informed decisions. Ms.Boyd does NOT do that at all. She doesn't rush you and she takes the time to help you understand what is going on with YOUR body. I have developed a lack of trust over many years with health care providers in the USA recently after experiencing amazing medical treatment abroad in what the USA would consider a "3rd world country." I experienced what an American would consider concierge medical treatment in the USA. I was livid coming back to the USA after that amazing experience abroad that diagnosed me properly and gave me proper medicine that worked. Treatment I was lacking the last 2 years before seeing a cardiologist abroad. Becoming a patient of Nikkeya Boyd NP. has helped me gain trust again with American healthcare providers. I highly recommend her and I am glad I took the step to switch over. I trust her professional judgement.
