Nanette has been the nurse giving the majority of my children’s vaccines over the last four years. She goes above and beyond, making us feel comfortable and getting to know us personally. Nanette is a special kind of nurse that never judges or complains. She has supported our family’s decision to do our routine vaccines on a delayed schedule, always encouraging and helping us choose the most important one first without pushing an agenda. I’ve watched her navigate the stress of Covid, running a team of nurses at the health department as well as in the field at testing and vaccination locations. She talked with my candidly about the Covid vaccine and my reservations, ultimately giving me the autonomy to decide if it was right for me. She adores my children and dotes on them in the office, making them feel safe, even during shot time. My kids aren’t scared of the needle for her and even if they are a little, she reassured them and does it with minimal discomfort. Thank you, Nanette!
