Recently hospitalized with Covid. A few weeks out of the hospital trying to recover from that. I had a heart attack/ Myocarditis. I was readmitted had a stent implanted. Released from the hospital. They scheduled a follow up with Meghan Hughes. When I came to the appointment she had read through all my hospital notes and test already. She was very knowledgeable of me as a patient and and express much care of me as a person. She listened tentatively. She went through everything I was feeling. Reassured me. Explained my options. Asked me my thoughts on each. Prescribed a new medication to treat my myocarditis. I left feeling much better about my out look. Unfortunately, my symptoms persisted. To my surprise. Meghan kept calling me and checking on my status. Not happy with my progression. She somehow got me scheduled in that day for Cardiac catheterization. Following that she continued to call and check up to see how I was feeling. I could not be happier with my care from her.
