Dr. Mackey came in, introduced himself and actually spent time listening to me about what was causing me pain. I felt he was authentic and was passionate about helping me feel better. I have visited lots of doctors and felt like I was a number or worse a dollar sign, but Dr. Mackey offered several options that were in my budget that he thought would help me start to feel better. I never felt rushed or that he was in a hurry, just that he cared about improving my health. After my initial visit, I was shocked that he spent an hour & 12 minutes with me. WHEN was the last time a doctor spent more than 15 minutes listening to you talk about the reason of your visit? The ladies at the front desk were a little disorganized which was frustrating but overall. I decided on care due to Dr. Mackey's interest and my comfort level of trust in him. So far, after 10 visits, I am improving and Dr. Mackey is still just as concerned on improving my health. Can't say that about many doctors today.
