I had no symptoms of anything being wrong when I kept my appointment with Dr. Manary to upgrade my glasses. Dr. Manary discovered I had a possible detached retina. He called the retina specialist hoping to schedule an appointment at the end of the day on a Friday to check out his concerns. He was on hold for 15 minutes or more when I said I could come back Monday. He insisted I stay until he got through to the doctor. An appointment was made that Friday. I had Retina Detachment Surgery that following Monday. I am so thankful for Dr. Manary's determination to get me in to see a specialist. I continue to progress with a gas bubble in my right eye. I am convinced Dr. Manary's keen observation and persistence saved my sight and I am so very thankful.
