I saw Midwife Marci at the Anaheim Kaiser for an IUD placement after a family practice doctor at Kaiser in Brea said I would not be a candidate because I had never given birth. This is false data, actually, the American academy of pediatrics and ACOG both support IUD placement in nulliparous women. I appreciated the time and empathy Marci had during my visit and she placed it with no problem. She was very personable and I am thankful for the level of care I received.
