We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Miranda today. We went in for an eye exam due to a rapid onset, strabismus, and although we were there for a long time due to dilation & the testing involved, Dr. Miranda and the nurses at Nemours went over and above to make sure my daughter was not bored, that she wasn’t scared, and that she felt confident despite seeing funky. My daughter is usually timid and nervous at doctors appointments, so this was a wonderful change of pace to see her having fun with a doctor— and not being afraid. :) I feel like Dr. Miranda worked really hard to make sure my daughter was comfortable, and I also feel like she listened to all of my concerns attentively. I had a ton of questions, all of which she answered and didn’t dodge, which I appreciate a lot. Because of Dr. Miranda, we are able to get in with an ophthalmologist more quickly, and we will hopefully be addressing my daughter’s issues with great taste. I couldn’t be more grateful.
