Dr Hirsch is extremely LGBT friendly and has many gay patients like me. I have been seeing her on and off for about 15 years and she has been a great help to me. I have referred her to family and friends. Focusing on a specific event or issue may feel good but is often not therapeutic. Effective doctors want to focus on changing behaviors and thought patterns and how to effectively deal with events and situations. Dr Hirsch is a very effective therapist. Trust the process.
