I was very fortunate to find a counselor like Lana when I needed it most. I had felt mental illness was a sign of weakness, so my alternative was to bottle it up inside. That worked great, until it didn't. Life's not easy, in my case manifested itself in anxiety. A counselor won't have the answers, but a good one like Lana will help guide the way. She listens, she encourages, she gentle helps puts things in its proper perspective. For me, the weight was lifted and I'll be forever grateful.
