My previous PCP wanted to put me on cholesterol meds because I was borderline risk. I saw Kristin around 13 months ago for a second opinion and she provided more holistic advice on supplements (red yeast, fish oil, etc) along with diet recommendations, and recommended against an RX due to the risk outweighing the benefits. My LDL and triglycerides dropped to the point where medication isn’t recommended or necessary anymore. She spent so much time educating me versus writing a quick prescription and has caused me to feel healthier while taking more accountability for my own actions and dietary habits. She is so caring and thoughtful.
